Hi, I’m Runming. I build design systems that turn complexity into clarity, and help teams ship better work without reinventing the wheel.
At OKX, I lead the evolution of OKDS, shaping multi-brand foundations, reusable components, Figma-to-code infrastructure, and AI-powered workflows. I partner closely with designers, engineers, and product leaders to translate complex product needs into scalable systems, enabling teams to move faster while keeping design and implementation aligned across Web, iOS, and Android. Previously, I co-founded the Carvana Design System and scaled it from 0→1 across global products and brands.
I believe great design systems are more than libraries, they’re shared products that help designers and engineers make better decisions, move with confidence, and create more cohesive experiences. I care about creating systems that are accessible, technically grounded, and genuinely useful to the people who design, build, and maintain them.

When I'm not thinking about design systems, I'm probably out on a sunny Saturday hike, at our favorite Sunday dim sum spot, arranging flowers like it's my side quest, or brewing a really good cup of tea. I'm very serious about a good cup of tea and always down to slow things down, notice the details, and do things with care.
